Happy Lunar New Year! from Cafe LA

2023 January 22 marks the beginning of the lunar new year. The year of the Rabbit.

To join in and spread some festivities, we will be doing a special menu: CHAR SIU BOWL.

We will begin serving from 5pm until supplies last so first come first serve!
Homemade Char Siu by Erik with Bok Choy (青梗菜) and boiled egg on top of white rice. チャーシュー丼!

On top of that, from 7pm-ish we will be having a MAHJONG NIGHT!
Mahjong is a fun game but it might seem daunting from someone who doesn’t know the rules.
That’s why we will be teaching the basic rules today to whoever wants to learn.
We will also be playing a much simpler version (Riichi Mahjong or Japanese Mahjong is a bit too complicated)
So beginners are more than welcome to come and play!

We will have multiple sets of mahjong so more advanced players can come and play together too!
